Summer Overstreet is a singer songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. Daughter of NSAI Songwriter Hall of Fame member Paul Overstreet, Summer grew up in and around country music.
At the age of 12 she learned the guitar, and with that, discovered her passion for songwriting. Since the age of 14, when she wrote her first song, Summer has been developing her unique style and sound.
Today, Working as an up-and-coming songwriter on music row, Summer has had songs on the TV show “Nashville” as well as had songs recorded by several young artist; including singles by Lucy Angel and Endless Summer.
She brings a fresh sound and perspective to the country music genre with striking lyrics and unique melodies, but you will also hear a touch of historic tradition in her songs. She will tell you right out that she loves country music. Always has and always will.
