Jeb Gibson – Bio

2019 SONGFEST NEWCOMER! DON’T MISS YOUR FIRST OPPORTUNITY TO SEE JEB PERFORM LIVE THIS YEAR!

I’m from a small town in the northeastern part of Georgia. Go as far northeast as you can, and you’ll run slap into a little place called Clayton. That’s where I grew up. And even though I live in Nashville, Tennessee now, I still proudly call that tiny dot on the map home. I started playing music at a pretty young age. I’d say 6 or 7. My dad bought me a mandolin and a “Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky thunder” record and that’s all it took, I was hooked. Thankfully Chris DuBois and the folks at Sea Gayle took a chance on young green wanna be songwriter and offered me a publishing deal in the spring of 2016.

Getting to work on music row every day, you find out real quick that there’s a lot of talented people in this world. The singer/songwriting community is a close nit group of guys and gals that show up every single day with passion and a purpose. Somehow or another they decided to let me in the club, and I get to call those people not only my co-workers but more importantly, my friends. And well my friends and I have written a lot of songs over the past couple years, and I can’t wait to share some of them with y’all.
