Our Kids

RiverBend Academy (RBA), is a school of visual & performing arts and a 501(c)3 organization. RBA seeks to become the premier education resource for arts in the region. With the intent of serving all, RBA serves those who show interest and commitment regardless of age, race, ability or circumstance in the areas of Visual Arts, Music, Performing Arts and Culinary.

As an inclusive organization, RiverBend educates while mentoring and providing healthy alternatives. In turn, RBA brings about hope, transforms lives and fuses various people and abilities while generating talented new artists and in some cases, forming new career paths.

In its unique model, RBA can become operationally sustainable by providing paying classes to those who can afford such lessons. Through paid classes, grants, various partners and other fees for services, those who cannot afford such an arts education will be provided free or partial enrollment coverage.

RBA advances life through premium instruction while remaining dedicated to Henderson, Kentucky’s downtown. RBA furthers the economics of Henderson with a portion of its students traveling as much as 45 minutes away for lessons. RBA also provides satellite programming outreach in various facilities and schools - bringing the arts to more and more all the time!

By focusing on enduring relationships that will further the preservation, appreciation and advancement of the arts, RBA will broaden, shape and build healthy, strong individuals - as well as the community as a whole. RiverBend Academy is ultimately about health and well-being of community with excellent art instruction as the means.
